Etude-Fantasy on the Name of Haydn, 3'

This Etude-Fantasy is based on the musical spelling of Haydn’s name—H-A-Y-D-N—the same pitch set used by Debussy and Ravel in their tributes. Unlike those works, mine is fast and virtuosic, drawing on Haydn’s witty, often cross-handed keyboard writing while exploring piano sonorities inspired by Debussy and Ravel, all refracted through my own musical language.
